Radiology Physician

Exciting opportunity for a BC/BE Diagnostic Radiologist in central Pennsylvania! Mount Nittany Health Radiology is seeking 2 FT General Diagnostic Radiologist to join their busy, hospital-employed practice of 2 physicians. Located in State College, PA, Mount Nittany Medical Center is a 260-bed acute care facility that offers all of the luxuries of a college town including short commutes, NCAA Sports, Arts, high quality schools and outdoor recreation abounds with beautiful hiking and biking trails. Community based medicine is a plus! The physician will be provided a robust recruitment package.

The Position:

• Newly Renovated Diagnostic Pavilion with the latest technology in imaging equipment and facilities
• Hours: Monday-Friday; 8 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
• 2 hospital-employed physicians goal is to have 4 total physicians
• On-site only; No Telerad
• Weekday Call: 1:3 - very minimal (only called in when IT Systems/Telerad are unavailable)
• Weekend Work: 1:6 - Saturdays from 8 a.m. 2p.m. home work stations are provided by hospital
• Enhanced radiology services to include some interventional procedures
• Imaging Services include: CT, X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and PET
• Average volume: 100 cases/day with approximately 35-40 cross sectional cases
• Technology: PACS system: Fuji Synapse
