- Deliver care at a state-of-the-art, hospital-based Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF), fully supported by on-site diagnostics, advanced imaging, subspecialty consultants, and the complete resources of a major acute care hospital.
- Manage a medically complex and diverse rehabilitation population, with a clinical focus in general PM&R.
- Monday Friday schedule with rotating call (primarily home-based). Weekend call typically includes admissions and evaluation of active medical issues with APP support, plus a post-call day off.
- Optional opportunity to teach Florida State University medical students, as Sarasota Memorial Hospital is a core clinical training site.
- Research opportunities exist at the SMH Kolschowsky Research and Education Institute, a state-of-the-art 82,000 sq ft facility with clinical research resources, simulation labs, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Must be BE/BC and ACGME-trained in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
