What You ll Do:

  • Diagnose, manage, & treat a wide range of pulmonary conditions in an outpatient setting.
  • Perform key procedures including bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, central/arterial line placement, and intubation.
  • Collaborate with referring providers and specialists to deliver seamless care.
  • Shape the future of Pediatric pulmonary care at a hospital committed to growth, innovation, & excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine
  • IN, KY and IL Licenses
  • Proficiency in outpatient pulmonary diagnostics and procedures

In July 2004, Riley Hospital for Children, Deaconess Hospital and Riley Children s Specialists announced a long-term, exclusive partnership designed to enhance the level of pediatric specialty care available in the Tri-State. Deaconess and Riley shared joint guidance and oversight of all components of the partnership.

Deaconess Riley Inpatient Services and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

Opened in 2006, representatives from Deaconess and Riley worked together to complete a 12-bed pediatric unit and a 5-bed pediatric intensive care unit as part of construction of Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

  • There is an opportunity for teaching with Deaconess Family Medicine Residents or Indiana University Medical Students, such as: pre-rounds on pediatric patients, clinical case reviews or special interest topics pertaining to a medical condition for pediatric patients. Attend Pediatric Department meeting (quarterly) and monthly Pediatrics Core Care Team meetings as a member of Pediatric Center of Excellence.
