The Primary Care Center at the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio has an opening for a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine Physician at one of our eight primary care practices. This position will hold a faculty appointment of Assistant Professor/Clinical (Non-Tenure Track) or higher as appropriate for applicant's experience and career trajectory.
We are seeking qualified individuals with a strong commitment to patient-centered and innovative team-based primary care. Clinically, applicants should be prepared to manage a wide range of complex problems presenting in primary care, including chronic care and prevention. Inpatient and obstetrics are not required. Resident mentoring and medical student teaching opportunities are available but not required.
