Controls Technician

Hours: 1st Shift - 7am - 3:30pm, Mon - Fri
Pay: $24-$36
What You'll Do:
Assemble, maintain, and upgrade various process control equipment.
Install enclosures, conduits, raceways, sensors, controls, and HMI systems.
Calibrate production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and maintain controls for compressed air, boilers, HVAC, security, and access systems.
Collaborate with subcontractors on power distribution, building controls, and security systems.
Follow safety protocols and documentation requirements, including CPI cGMP standards.
Required Skills:
Basic understanding of power distribution, PLC automation, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with troubleshooting HVAC, boiler controls, or security systems.
Familiarity with GMP requirements and safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Prior experience with PLC programming or automation.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
No minimum experience required; candidates with some relevant background are encouraged to apply.
Other Requirements:
On-site work in Verona, WI-local candidates preferred.
Knowledge of PPE usage and safety practices.
Certifications related to electrical or controls work are a plus.
