Maintenance Technician
Location: Oconee, SC
Schedule: Must be flexible across shifts
Status: Full-Time
What You'll Be Doing
This role supports critical production and molding equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring independent judgment and adaptability.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain and repair:
- Injection molding presses and molds
- Conveying systems, robots, automatic handling equipment
- Grinders, pumps, motors, blenders, compressors, boilers
- Electrical and lighting systems
- Install and maintain:
- Process piping, valves, thermocouples, fittings, gauges
- Hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, and air systems
- Set up, remove, inspect, clean, and maintain molds of varying complexity
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs with minimal supervision
- Support environmental compliance, including RCRA waste handling
- Participate in required environmental and safety training
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Two-year technical degree or certificate preferred
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Hydraulic system repair
- Willingness to learn and expand technical skill set
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience with Milacron equipment is a plus
Required:
• Ability to work assigned shifts, weekends, and overtime as required
• Ability to work in an industrial environment (standing, walking, lifting, bending)
• Ability to wear required PPE
• Commitment to safety, quality, and attendance standards
