One of our partnering facilities is seeking immediate Neurosurgery locums coverage for their clinic. They have 10-14 shifts open per month for clinic coverage with clinic only call, and light hospital rounding. Please reach out if you're available and interested!
Job Details:
Start: ASAP, March and ongoing
Shifts needed: 10-14 days per month
Clinic: Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm with 1 hour lunch, admin time in office until 5pm. Fridays 9am-11:30am, admin time until 12pm
Hospital rounds in morning before clinic, 7am-9am (as needed)
Surgery/cases will all be routine and scheduled for clinic patients only
Clinic call from 5pm-8am on weekdays and clinic call from 8am-8am on weekends, light volume expected. No trauma or hospital call
Weekend shifts: 24-hour clinic backup call and about 2 hours rounding in hospital
Case volume: 6 per week (could vary dependent on complexity)
Patient volume: 20 per day in clinic, but flexible based on candidate comfort level
Facility Details:
Support staff: 2 APPs in clinic, 1 APP and 1 attending Neurosurgeon in hospital
Beds: 500+
Candidate Requirements:
Georgia license or IMLC required
Board Certified required, Neurosurgery
Minimal malpractice preferred for quick credentialing
