We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Dealership Parts Runner to support the daily movement of parts, equipment, and supplies within our dealership and to nearby locations as needed. This role is critical to keeping our service, parts, and body shop operations running smoothly through timely, accurate, and organized part transfers. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Transport parts, equipment, and supplies between the parts department, service department, body shop, and nearby locations as needed
- Ensure all parts are accurately matched to repair orders and invoices
- Assist with receiving, stocking, labeling, and organizing incoming parts shipments
- Coordinate with parts, service, and body shop teams to prioritize urgent needs
- Maintain documentation for parts movement and obtain signatures when required
- Keep work areas, carts, and vehicles clean and organized
- Support service operations by moving customer vehicles when necessary
- Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies at all times
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Required Skills & Qualifications- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
- Previous automotive or parts department experience is a plus
Work Environment & Physical Demands- Ability to lift, carry, and transport automotive parts throughout the shift
- Role includes standing, walking, bending, and repetitive movement
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
