Work Dates Needed: ASAP - Ongoing Preferred Schedule: 11a-9p 4p-1a Worksite Setting: Inpatient Scope of Work: Level 1 Trauma Center Trauma team in house Average around 275 visits per day Average of 108 hours of physician coverage per day The Emergency Medicine physicians see around 2 patients per hour Dedicated Fast track area that is staffed by APP providers that treat the low acuity level 4-5 patients independently EM physician runs the traumas until trauma attending comes to the ED and remains available to trauma team if needed for patient care In house medical and surgical intensivist and hospitalist service 24/7 The groups work well together and our process for admitting patients is mostly seamless Intensivist runs the in house rapid and codes, EM physician is not responsible for attending the codes If there is a difficult airway the EM provider needs assistance with, intensivist or anesthesia are available and willing to help Specialty care providers on call for most specialties Transfer severe burns and transplant patients Epic integrated AI scribe (Abridge software) to assist with documentation (no scribes) Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active SC license, ABEM, DEA, drive in candidates preferred, EMR: Epic
