Team Leadership & Development:


• Build Team Leader and Team Member capability.
• Lead and manage hourly personal development.
• Communication and recognition.
• Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities/tasks.

Operational Excellence & Daily Management:


• Coach Safety, Quality, and Productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized work.
• Responsible for the daily production and autonomous maintenance functions for the facility and the department.
• Ensure proper production flow throughout the department. Monitor and react to Andon occurrences. Implement Interim and Permanent corrective actions and standardize the learnings to prevent recurrence.
• Thorough Process Confirmation, verify that the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts.

Continuous Improvement & FPS Support:


• Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives and coach problem resolution to the lowest level.
• Support Ford Production System and synchronous material flow through lean manufacturing practices.

Supervisory & Administrative Tasks:


• Basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and related documentation.


Candidates must possess full flexibility and a readiness to consistently work across all established standard, operating, and rotational shift schedules, encompassing day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

You'll have

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership position in an automated manufacturing plant.
  • 2+ years of experience in system audits (e.g., process, safety).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, constraint management principles, logistics planning, and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)

Even better, you may have

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Engineering or a related field
  • Possesses strong analytical, logical thinking, and systematic problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of line balancing, time study, material flow, and capacity planning.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with a strong ability to convey information effectively and collaborate proactively as a team player, supporting colleagues and team objectives.
  • Exhibits an open mind, eagerness to learn, and adaptability to change. Demonstrates a proactive, "can-do" attitude, taking initiative and approaching challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Capable of maintaining performance and composure under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and adapting to various work schedules, including any shift, rotating shifts, and weekends.
  • Leadership Potential: Shows capacity for effective leadership, including the ability to assign work to a unionized hourly workforce and hold employees accountable for adhering to safety, quality, and throughput processes.

This position is a salary grade 6 - 7 ranges from $72,480 -141,360.
