NOW HIRING IN THE CENTRAL, PA REGION! Property Management, Inc. (PMI) has a rare opportunity for a motivated, high-energy individual looking to join an industry leader as an employee owner. PMI manages over $4 billion of real estate assets and has over 30,000 customers and 360 clients. We are currently searching for one full-time Multi-Site Leasing Agent to join our team! This position will be responsible for leading the market in occupancy and resident relations. A PA Real Estate License is preferred but not required. If you don't have one, we will pay for you to get one! Role and Responsibilities: Show/Tour apartments and properties in a manner that highlights features and benefits in accordance with Fair Housing Laws. Maintains a mobile presence by traveling daily/weekly between multiple assigned properties as directed by the portfolio's needs. Examples of locations included are Harrisburg, Hershey, Lehigh Valley, Mechanicsburg, Lancaster, but could vary depending on market needs. Processes rental applications, runs background checks and prepares lease forms according to individual property tenant selection guidelines. Assists in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of a marketing campaign to effectively market the apartments. Conducts follow-up phone calls and enters guest card information on all prospects into software system. Implements resident retention program and encourages lease renewals. Shops competing properties and assists in the preparation of regular market surveys to evaluate property position within the marketplace. Organizes community activities as directed by supervisor. Prepares welcome letters, lease and new move-in tenant orientation packages and assists with move-in procedures. Assists in the collection of late rents and other monies due as requested by supervisor. Communicate with residents for requested work orders. This is a safety sensitive position which requires strict adherence to our safety policies and procedures and our Drug, Alcohol and Controlled Substances policy. Performs other related duties as assigned. One-year successful experience in residential apartment leasing at a community comprised of at least ninety units or more units is preferred. An advanced degree and related sales experience may be acceptable substitute for the lack of direct apartment leasing experience. A Pennsylvania Real Estate Salesperson License is required (or secured within one year of hire date). Must possess a thorough, working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Organizational skills necessary to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks for efficient operations. Interpersonal skills and outgoing/friendly demeanor necessary to effectively deal with residents, tenants and applicants. Valid PA Drivers License and reliable transportation.
