Location: Remote, in the US, must work EST during business hoursJob Type: Contract, ongoing opportunity, 15 hours a week (could vary)Compensation Range: $80-90/hr W2Cella has an exciting opportunity for a part time Promotional Medical Writer at an award-winning, best-in-class, in-house agency at a major pharmaceutical company. This full-service agency produces a full suite of digital, video, augmented/virtual reality, and print assets and is consistently rated better than both similar in-house agencies and external competitors-overall and with respect to innovation, execution, and client support.This role will focus on supporting our agency's work across all human health brands with a focus on oncology and vaccines, developing compelling creative content within brand and on strategy, across a variety of media. The ideal candidate is a medical writer with an advanced degree (Masters, PharmD, or PhD) with at least 3 years of pharmaceutical writing experience and a firm understanding of the FDA rules governing prescription drug advertising.The Promotional Medical Writer will be accountable for drafting and reviewing scientifically accurate, original content, working within the Content Center of Excellence to plan and develop high-impact, innovative promotional materials for assigned brands. Responsibilities:Develops and reviews different types of deliverables across diverse project types and audiences.Partner with Account Services to develop and maintain excellent client relationships and foster organic growth.May support in assigning work to other writers.Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge across relevant therapy areas.Collaborate with team members including editors, designers, project managers and account managers to meet project objectives.Review content from a medical/scientific/strategic perspective, contributes to new business pitches.Apply insights and data to support the development of new ideas.Qualifications:3+ years of external or in-house agency experience as a promotional medical writer.Masters, PhD, or PharmD.Experience in oncology/immunotherapy.SkillsDeep understanding of promotional materials for prescription drug advertising and the MLR review process.Experienced relationship builder with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholder.Strong analytical skills and familiarity with pharma data reporting (clinical trial, real-world, and preclinical datasets).Experienced medical communicator who can make data engaging across different audience types.Ability to handle multiple timelines and work independently with minimal additional training.JOBID: JN -79 Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
