A corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located 2.5 hours from Anchorage, Alaska.

This assignment is a one-week credentialing position with a schedule of Monday through Thursday or Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. The provider will manage a caseload of 8-12 adult patients, primarily focused on chronic care management, within a maximum-security mens prison. DEA certification is preferred but not required. On-site support includes nursing staff and nurse supervisors, ensuring the provider never works alone.
