Job Description
We are seeking a patient and reliable college student to tutor a 9th-grade private school student in Geometry. This position focuses on helping the student: Understand how to approach and start problems Learn Geometry proofs step-by-step Build consistent study habits and confidence This is not a test-prep or competition-based tutoring role. All sessions will be in-person using the student's current school Geometry materials. Responsibilities: Provide in-person Geometry tutoring to a high school student Explain concepts clearly and patiently Help break down problems and proofs into manageable steps Encourage good study routines and independent thinking Offer light feedback to parents on learning progress (no grading required) Qualifications Current undergraduate or graduate student Strong background in math (Math, Engineering, Science, Education, or related majors preferred) Prior tutoring or mentoring experience is a plus Patient, encouraging, and responsible Comfortable working with middle/high school students Formal teaching credentials are not required.
