Pediatric Hospitalist Locums Job in Ohio 24-Hour Call Beginning ASAP Ongoing Assignment
Coverage Details
10 days per month for 9 12 months
24-hour call (7 AM 7 AM)
Locum-to-perm option available
Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 2 months; temporary privileges possible if not fully credentialed by April 1
Requirements
Board Certified Highly Preferred (or Board Eligible)
Ohio State License
NRP and BLS certifications
Clean malpractice history Highly Preferred
Primary Duties
Initial newborn assessment
Review hearing tests
Review blood results
Assignment Details
Setting: Inpatient; very low acuity
Annual births: Approximately 290
Support staff: RN, CRNA, MDA
No inpatient pediatric floor; OB-GYNs typically perform circumcisions
