Locums Cardiologist in California - Inpatient and Outpatient Mix
Ongoing general cardiology assignment in scenic Lakeport; Monday-Friday only with minimal call.
Highlights
- Weekdays only; no weekends required
- 1:2 phone call rotation with rare callbacks
- Full-time, 6-month locum-to-perm path preferred
- California license not required to start
Practice Setting
- 25-bed critical access hospital near Clear Lake
- Mix of clinic and inpatient cardiology ( 25% inpatient)
- Team includes RNs, MAs, echo techs, and hospitalists
- Epic EMR
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
- Ongoing full-time assignment preferred
Cases and Procedures
- General cardiology: CHF, arrhythmia, HTN
- ECHO reads, TEE, pacemaker supervision (no implants)
- 19 patients/day total
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years)
- DEA, ACLS, BLS
- California license, IMLC, or willing to apply
