Charleston Area Medical Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Director of Echocardiography to lead our dynamic imaging team and help shape the future of non-invasive cardiac diagnostics. Located in the beautiful capital city of West Virginia, the Heart and Vascular Center at Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) is one of the largest and most comprehensive heart programs in the region, offering a full spectrum of cardiac and vascular services. This center is known for its exceptional care and advanced technology, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of heart and vascular conditions. Position Summary: As the Medical Director of Echocardiography, you will provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership to our echocardiography lab. This role blends administrative oversight with clinical excellence, supporting both inpatient and outpatient imaging services. The ideal candidate will lead quality initiatives, ensure adherence to ASE standards, foster research and innovation, and mentor the next generation of cardiologists. About Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) was established in 1972 and is a nonprofit, 1,138-bed regional tertiary referral center made up of seven hospitals: General Hospital, Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Memorial Hospital, Plateau Medical Center, Teays Valley Hospital, Women and Children s Hospital, and Charleston Surgical Hospital. In addition to the hospitals, CAMC is comprised of the Institute for Academic Medicine and the CAMC Foundation.
