Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Manage diverse women's health issues including prenatal, delivery, postnatal care, and gynecological surgeries.
- Conduct inpatient rounds and collaborate with hospitalists for continuity of care.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including primary care providers and specialists.
- Utilize advanced surgical technology and equipment for procedures.
- Participate in shared call schedules to balance personal and professional life.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly, ensuring compliance with hospital guidelines.
- Engage in the mentorship of advanced practice providers and support staff.
- Participate in continuous education and professional development.
- Support hospital outreach efforts and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Serve a community-focused role, impacting healthcare in a rural area.
Qualifications:
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
- A valid Missouri medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- At least 2 years of experience in OB/GYN preferred.
- DEA and CSR/CDS licenses required prior to starting.
- Clean malpractice and license history preferred.
