What You'll Do: Design and lead renewable energy projects, including site civil plans, landscape plans, engineering reports, calculations, specifications, construction detail, and other technical documents in support of municipal permit packages, issued-for bid and issued for-construction documents. Perform site visits and prepare Feasibility Studies. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, clients, and agencies. Planning Board and public presentations, securing regulatory/agency permits and approvals. Foster positive, cooperative, and rewarding relationships with clients. Manage multiple projects and support junior staff by inspiring teamwork. Lead multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines. Coordinate Quality Assurance and Control review procedures for projects. Pay Range: $95,000 - $120,000 per year, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Requirements What We're Looking For: Ten plus (10+) years of Site Development experience with knowledge of Site Civil Design with background in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture. Strong knowledge of site civil design, permitting, and land use regulations, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and local municipal and state permit applications. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Valid driver's license and ability to perform limited travel to project sites. Preferred: Public presentation and planning board experience. Experience with local/state jurisdictional requirements for utility-scale, distributed generation, and behind-the-meter renewable energy applications. Project and/or staff management experience. Proposal writing and business development experience. Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or Landscape Architecture from ABET-accredited four-year college or university. What You'll Do: Develop and drive the electrical design process for new building systems and renovation projects, including NEC load calculations, service/feeder/branch panel design, generator sizing, and lighting design (including photometric studies). Primary Responsibilities: Demonstrate and maintain proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting and design while meeting deadlines, including, but not limited to, design drafting, surface modeling, pipe networks, alignments, profiles, details etc. Design & drafting assistance with site civil plans, commercial site plans, residential subdivisions, feasibility studies, presentation plans and other technical documents in support of projects' municipal permit, issued for bid and issued for construction packages.
