Job Title: Permanent NP/PA in Oncology - Coos Bay, OR
Join the team at a 127-bed Level III Trauma hospital nestled along the beautiful Southern Coast of Oregon! We are seeking an additional Advanced Practice Caregiver to enhance our collaborative Oncology service line. With a catchment area serving over 320,000 residents, this facility is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to the community. Experience working in a state-of-the-art Cancer Center, affiliated with OHSU Knight Cancer Network, providing comprehensive services including radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and clinical trials.
Job Responsibilities:
- Full-time, Day shift (four ten-hour shifts, no nights or weekends)
- Participate in a paid call shared equally among team members
- Primarily focus on outpatient care with occasional inpatient consultations
- Contribute as a member of the clinical patient care team, performing tasks consistent with advanced practice licensure
- Collaborate with a high-caliber, collegial nurse infusion team
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality in alignment with job requirements
Qualifications:
- Board Certified NP or PA (REQUIRED)
- AONCP certification (or in process) for NP candidates (REQUIRED)
- Oregon license (or willingness to obtain) (REQUIRED)
- Experience in oncology, preferably in both inpatient and outpatient settings (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
- Clean malpractice history and background (REQUIRED)
- Excellent clinical acumen and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Oregon NP or PA license required for practice
- AONCP certification in process for NP candidates (REQUIRED)
- Copy of recent NPDB self-query report (within 30 to 60 days active) (REQUIRED)
