Key Responsibilities
Coordinate warehouse staff activities, including training new hires, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.Oversee shipping and receiving processes: packing orders, preparing shipping documents, loading/unloading trucks, and ensuring timely and accurate shipments.Learn and be a redundant/backup resource for shipping and receiving processes.Inventory control: conduct cycle counts, track stock levels, and resolve discrepancies.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintain a clean and organized warehouse, and promote a safe working environment.Coordinate with other departments (e.g., production, customer service) to meet shipping deadlines and resolve issues.Lead team meetings, provide feedback, and drive process improvements for efficiency.Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling tools as needed.Handle administrative tasks like preparing reports on shipments, inventory, and team productivity.Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.2+ years of experience in warehouse operationsProven experience in shipping/receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.Familiarity with MRP software, inventory control and shipping platforms.Strong leadership skills.Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.Physical capability to lift heavy items (up to 50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods.Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email).What We Offer
