Overview
We are seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to fill upcoming locum roles at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, NE. As a vital part of the anesthesia team, you will manage a variety of cases including general, urology, trauma, neuro, gynecology, orthopedics, and bariatrics within a fast-paced, team-based setting. Required Skills
  • Valid Nebraska CRNA license and certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia experience, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Proficiency in managing diverse anesthesia cases
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team model
  • Flexibility with schedules and availability for days shifts

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system
  • Previous work in trauma or academic hospitals
  • Skills in general, neuro, and epidural anesthesia techniques
  • Ability to assist with complex cases such as spine, bariatric, and orthopedic surgeries

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Current RN and advanced practice certification in anesthesia
  • At least 2 years of prior CRNA practice in similar clinical environments
  • Prior experience with trauma and neuro cases preferred

Other Requirements
  • Availability for shifts in November and December 2025
  • Willingness to adhere to credentialing timelines (60-90 days)
  • Local lodging preferred; travel arrangements and credentialing support are available
  • Must include malpractice coverage in rates; orientation at $150 per hour after 8 hours; holiday pay at 1.5x hourly rate
