Duke University School of Medicine seeks a board-certified Hematologist for a Senior Faculty position at the Associate Professor or Professor level, focusing on Non-Malignant Hematology across inpatient and outpatient settings. Opportunity Highlights Practice at Duke University School of Medicine, a world-class academic center Pursue program leadership opportunities under guidance and mentorship from Division Chief, Dr. Thomas Ortel Teach, mentor, and pursue clinical or translational research as senior faculty Deliver exceptional Non-Malignant Hematology care within Dukes stellar sickle cell, hemostasis and thrombosis, leukocyte, and apheresis programs Manage Benign Hematology patients while incorporating telehealth strategies to expand clinical outreach efforts far beyond, as Duke Health System expands its footprint across North Carolina and beyond Supervise fellows, residents, APPs, and students in clinical teaching settings Participate and advance clinical or translational research while supporting strategic Division growth Incorporate outpatient and/or inpatient clinical effort with teaching, administrative, and academic time determined by your professional interests Collaborate with dedicated Benign Hematology APPs and full nursing, pharmacy, infusion, and care coordination support Leverage Dukes extensive clinical research and clinical trials infrastructure with support for funded investigations Develop new or participate in existing niche programs focused on vascular malformations, thrombotic microangiopathies, and/or clonal hematopoiesis Foster collaborations with other Divisions within the Department of Medicine and the School of Medicine Community Information Raleigh-Durham, NC, offers a vibrant, university-centered community boasting Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and Research Triangle Park.
