Supports Maintenance Manager in the planning, review, approval, and preparation of budgetary items and capital planning for maintenance department (long and short term) requirements, including facility maintenance activities. Review the status of all maintenance and spare parts issues with team members. Reviews work schedules and manpower requirements and adjusts accordingly as company needs arise. Provides necessary training, support, and guidance to team members based upon documented work point sheets, work instructions, preventive maintenance programs and works together with the Maintenance Manager to update and revise to ensure team members are fully prepared to address equipment and downtime troubleshooting needs. Develops predictive and preventative maintenance programs in conjunction with the production management team to ensure on-going operation of all plant production equipment and plant facilities. Training requirements should include both basic/foundational skills assessment and training as well as progressive and more complex training to help expand team members' training skills for all production and facility equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and company safety policies and procedures, including adherence to the Lock Out Tag Out program.
