Overview The Field Performance Technicians are responsible for the management, scheduling, and completion of all service and warranty related work. The Field Service / Field Performance Technician must have the ability to work both independently and as a member of the Performance O&M team. This position will interact closely with the customers, Branch Manager, the Senior Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and the centralized scheduling Field Service Team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule. Work with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and the Branch Manager to allocate labor resources to service and warranty projects as needed Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians. Ability to interpret single line drawings and PV systems from roof to meter. Demonstrates knowledge of electrical principles as it pertains to solar interconnection/tie-in and code and how PV systems operate. Understands interconnection activities. Understands basic construction principles. Safety: Adheres to company safety policies and procedures including ability to identify and report safety hazards, and the ability to encourage others to work safely Customer Service: Ability to establish rapport, build relationships and loyalty with external and internal customers and coworkers, and remains tactful when communicating Results Driven: Proven ability to meet deadlines and key metrics. As a proactive team member, working varying shifts, the Automation Technician I is responsible for performing and managing plant maintenance programs under the direction of the Plant Manager. Maintenance activities must ensure that employee ' s health and safety, product safety, and the protection of the environment are never compromised, and that all maintenance activities enhance product quality, plant performance and business priorities. Key Accountabilities - What you will do M aintaining and repairing plant production equipment . D iagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures in all plant manufacturing equipment : conveyers, process pallet handling machines, dismantling, painting and stenciling systems. Perform proactive and reactive maintenance activities ensuring strict adherence to health and safety protocols . Support the site's reliability initiatives by identifying failure modes, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to improve equipment performance. Experience - What you will bring Day shift with flexibility for on call as needed 3-5 years of experience in industrial machine maintenance. Ability to read and use mechanical and electrical schematics for troubleshooting. Understanding of and ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical system components such as motors, variable AC drives, PLCs, and field sensors. Preventative and corrective Maintenance on conveyance equipment . Ability to climb steps over conveyor system, work in tight spaces as well as at heights. Ability to use and navigate MS office and internet applications. Knowledge of OSHA and Control of Hazardous Energy procedures and regulations. Ability to use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Skills & Knowledge Electrical Control panels and power cabinets. 3 phase 480-volt power systems. Rockwell Automation Compact Logic ( RSLogix 5000). Ethernet IP networks, EthernetIP on machine devices and VFDs.
