Stays current with IT platform technologies, architectures, best practices, and methodologies. Participates in On-Call rotation. Performs other duties as assigned. What you will need: Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor preferred) Certifications: 2 or more mid-expert level platform certifications including but not limited to VCP, VCAP, CCNP, CCIE, MZ-AZ, NCTSP or equivalent experience ITIL, TOGAF, PMP or equivalent experience Experience: Five (5) or more years of IT engineering experience (required) Two (2) or more years of enterprise solution architectural experience (required) Unique or Preferred Skills: Seven years IT engineering experience. Expert engineering knowledge across three or more IT Platforms such as MS AD, Cloud, Virtualization, Backup, Storage, Network, Security, or Application Delivery (preferred) Three years of solution architecture experience in a highly complex enterprise environment (preferred) Experience with operationalizing IT platform solutions (preferred) Experience with aligning business objectives with IT initiatives (preferred) Securing IT platforms and risk management (preferred) Excellent verbal and written skills essential for providing positive customer service and good communication with various business leaders and front-line staff. Handle difficult clients and situations in a professional and courteous manner. Manage multiple projects.
