Radiology Physician

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Locum-to-Perm Interventional Radiologist to begin in February 2026. This position includes a mix of onsite hospital-based work and remote reading, with full-spectrum diagnostic and interventional responsibilities. The need arises due to two departing radiologists, leaving substantial ongoing volume.

Start Date: February 2026
Assignment Length: Initial 3 6 months, with extension as needed

Schedule:

• Monday Friday, 8 AM 5 PM

• One required onsite day/week focused on diagnostic breast imaging

• Remote work possible 2 3 days/week (TBD)

Setting: Hospital-based practice with some remote work
Team: 8 radiologists (6 remaining after departures)
Support Staff: Full complement
EMR / Systems: Epic, PowerScribe, PACS
ER Volume: 120 patients/day (annualized daily average)
Patient Demographics: Adolescent through geriatric, including pediatric studies
Credentialing: days; provider responsible for any credentialing fees

Daily Workload: Variable number of cases; mix of diagnostic and interventional studies

• Mammography

• MRI (Basic Neuro, Brain, Spine, MSK)

• CT

• PET/CT

• Nuclear Medicine

• Ultrasound

• Pediatric studies

• Interventional breast FNA

• Thyroid FNA

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology Required

• Active Massachusetts Medical License Required

• ACLS & BLS Certifications Required

• Comfort with full diagnostic suite + breast/thyroid FNA Required
  

• Ability to work onsite and remotely as designated

• Willingness to complete day credentialing (no reimbursement provided)
