- Other Details: The need is for 1 2 full-time Pediatric Endocrinologists to provide outpatient clinic coverage starting around January 2026, with an ongoing schedule and potential locums-to-perm transition. Providers will typically cover one week at a time, including half-day clinics, hospital rounding, and 24/7 telephone call availability for various departments. Patient volume is flexible, with an expected half-day clinic each day and the option for video visits. Callback volume is still being determined, though it is expected to be minimal based on the new structure. Board-eligible candidates within the allowable time frame are acceptable, including recent fellowship graduates. Core procedures include insulin pump management, continuous glucose monitoring management, and oversight of infusion center endocrine testing. Requirements include experience with the Epic EMR, at least two years of clinical experience, an active state license, a clean malpractice and background history, and BE/BC status. Local candidates are highly preferred. The schedule follows a standard daytime shift, and the week-long coverage structure includes both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities. Holiday coverage guidelines apply, all orientation hours are billable, and flu vaccination is required with allowed exemptions, while COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
