Seeking BE/BC Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Med Ped Physicians to join fantastic hospital system in southern IL. In this role, there is flexibility for how you want to practice: outpatient only, traditional inpatient/outpatient mix and even an outpatient/hospitalist blend. Currently have 6 family medicine providers and 1 pediatrician. Openings are due to upcoming retirements. If Internal Medicine - must be able to see patients ages 13 and up Schedule can be what you make it - 4 days per week, 5 days per week, Friday-Sunday. If wanting hospitalist work, the normal census on hospital side is 8 and could do inpatient/hospitalist work 1 week per month with outpatient the other 3 per month. It's all up for discussion. Want to do scopes? GI physician would love to train you. No OB Call is very light 1:6 weeks answering maybe 3 calls during the week from home because hospitalist take inpatient calls In clinics you will see 18 patients per day minimum Hospital wants providers to be able to do what they do best - practice medicine - and have centralized coding and either in-person or virtual scribes available so that charting is done by the end of the day 25 bed critical access with 6 rural health clinics, home health service, several visiting specialists that come to town to deliver care Hospital is a training site for multiple medical school and NP/PA programs so there are opportunities to teach, if desired Compensation & Benefits: Base is always guaranteed - does not go away over time Incentive bonuses on top of base, plus w/RVU, plus opportunities to earn addition income with: additional days worked, overseeing APPs, hospitalist shifts, etc Full benefits health/dental/vision for family; 288 hours of PTO, CME allowance, STD/LTD The Community: Just an hour southeast of St. Louis, MO you have access to big city amenities and an international airport without the costs and hustle and bustle Randolph County is a wonderful tourism destination.
