Sr. DevSecOps Engineer

CALIBRE is an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company. We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to work in our Spectro Cloud Kubernetes management practice. You will deliver advanced DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and cloud-native automation services to clients, helping mission-focused teams operationalize secure, scalable workloads in AWS EKS and Spectro Cloud Palette Vertex environments. This position can be located in one of four sites: Salt Lake City, UT or Denver, Colorado or Melbourne, Florida or Huntsville, Alabama. Position will be on site. Key Responsibilities: Architect, deploy, and manage AWS EKS and Spectro Cloud Palette Vertex clusters for mission workloads. Implement GitOps workflows using Helm, Flux, and Istio for secure, automated deployments. Build and manage DevSecOps pipelines to integrate security scanning, infrastructure as code, and automated testing within CI/CD processes. Configure and optimize NGINX ingress controllers and Keycloak for secure ingress and identity management. Provide Kubernetes administration, tuning, and security hardening aligned with best practices. Collaborate with customer teams to operationalize deployments while enabling a security-first DevSecOps culture. Develop clear documentation and knowledge transfer materials to support customer sustainment. Required Skills Advanced Kubernetes (K8s) administration experience. Hands-on expertise with AWS EKS Experience with GitOps using Helm and Flux. Experience with Istio service mesh for traffic management and security. Working knowledge of NGINX ingress controllers and Keycloak for access and identity management. Proficiency in scripting and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar). Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed, containerized environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote work and customer interaction. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with additional cloud-native management platforms. Experience with Spectro Cloud Certifications in Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), AWS, or security-related areas. Familiarity with implementing STIG and compliance requirements in cloud environments. Experience working in agile, mission-driven environments. required Experience 8+ years of experience across cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps toolchains, and automation pipelines. Able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance/Must be a US Citizen
