Deliver packages and documents while providing exceptional customer service at every stop. Load, unload, and handle packages weighing up to 70 lbs with care and attention to safety protocols. Work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to group and individual success. Manage and maintain important databases, forms, and documents with accuracy and attention to detail. Apply and communicate Pace's organizational policies and procedures with professionalism and clarity. Exercise initiative, judgment, and discretion within established guidelines, always demonstrating tact and prudence. Deliver effective oral presentations to groups, peers, and internal departments as needed. Foster and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and all individuals you encounter on the job. SUMMARY: Responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering samples and related items and completing appropriate forms and documentation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Picks up, transports and delivers samples, documents, materials and other items as needed. Reviews, completes and processes documents, databases, and related materials and information for sample pick up, transport and delivery. Prepares vehicle or truck for daily operations, including documents, safety, and related areas. Provides basic support in the application and assistance to staff and management regarding the transport of samples. Provides basic support researching issues and developing recommendations to resolve employee, management and related customer issues. Assists with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations; receives guidance and direction or escalates when required. Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team. Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment. QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in related work is preferred; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Smile, engage, greet customers with curiosity and empathy Have clients sign-in (obtain as much information as possible including customer name, address, contractors, etc.) Enter client information and log traffic in SFDC Distributes walk-in customers to Sales & Design Consultants per guidelines Communicates with customers via Email, the phone and in person Write quotes and check stock for Sales Design Consultants (All clients should receive a quote within 24 hours for material selection) Check voice mail timely, within company standards Schedule appointments for Sales & Design Consultants Type and process sample check-outs via Salesforce Hand out marketing material Ensure everyone is helped - happy - and provided for Maintain showroom appear by ensuring tile samples are put away Keep reception area clean Responsible for Opening/Closing showroom according to Checklist Order showroom supplies (Backup) Conduct price checks and stock inventory checks Place follows up and receive sample orders Responsible for UPS/FedEx/Currier Services as needed Send out control samples to vendors Help to process orders when needed Send special items to customers or vendors (flowers, cookies, etc.) as needed Schedules Courier service when applicable for designers.
