We are working with a very successful Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation practice that is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work part-time in their Modesto clinic. You ll be joining a thriving group to help it grow while creating your own path forward. PM&R is a satisfying subspecialty where you get daily affirmations from patients visibly getting better!
Position Highlights:
- Outpatient practice focused on musculoskeletal and spine medicine
- General Rehab and Workers Compensation patient base with training provided
Clinical Duties
- Patient evaluation and education
- Developing treatment plans and making ongoing adjustments
- Diagnostics
- Performing Procedures a plus
- Medication management: pain medications, anti-inflammatories, or muscle relaxants as appropriate
- Follow-ups: Monitoring patient progress, making referrals when needed, and educating patients on preventive care and rehab strategies.
Ideal Candidate:
- Licensed in California
- Background in MSK, ortho, or PM&R helpful, but new grads considered
- Excellent communicator who can build relationships with patients, case managers, and referral sources
- Flexible, eager to learn, and committed to quality care
