Practice Setting

• Inpatient-only coverage at a stroke-certified hospital
• 15-bed unit with RN and APP support
• Nearest airport: Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU)

Schedule

• Call-only for unassigned OB patients
• Beeper call with 30-minute response time
• Typically 1-3 admissions per day
• Minimal to no rounding required

Cases and Procedures

• High and low-risk obstetrics, including VBACs and 3rd/4th degree repair
• Surgical gynecology and minor office-based GYN
• OB ultrasound interpretation required

Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• North Carolina license required (not IMLC eligible)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
