ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Board-Certified Neonatologist to provide locum coverage at a facility in Southern Nevada. This position involves 24-hour in-house shifts in a Level IV NICU, caring for high-acuity neonatal patients in a collaborative, team-based environment. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a Level III NICU or higher and be licensed (or compact eligible) in Nevada.
Dates / ScheduleShift Type: 24-hour in-house
Setting: Level IV NICU (72 beds; average daily census of 60)
Procedures/Environment:
Neonatal ECMO (team-based; no solo shifts)
iNO, frequent ventilation (Jet and Oscillator), body cooling
Delivery room attendance, admissions, and care for intubated Level III+ patients
Provide comprehensive inpatient care to critically ill and premature neonates in a high-acuity Level IV NICU.
Attend high-risk deliveries, perform intubations, and manage ventilated and complex cases.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including NNPs and other neonatologists, to ensure optimal outcomes.
Participate in NICU rounds, admissions, and ongoing patient management.
No requirement for independent ECMO coverage; work always paired with other providers.
Follow all Pediatrix and Sunrise Children s Hospital protocols and rate structure.
Board Certified in Neonatology Required
Active Nevada medical license or IMLC Compact eligibility Required
