As the Indirect Tax Analyst , you'll be responsible for supporting the ongoing management of the indirect tax audit inventory to comply with state/local tax laws, mitigate risks, pursue refunds for overpaid tax and investigate/resolve issues discovered within audit. You will manage a portfolio of audits, utilizing reporting functionality to collect audit related information, proactively evaluating tax exposure, developing and implementing audit strategies to defend tax positions and maintaining successful auditor relationships. Additionally, the Indirect Tax Analyst will review preliminary/final work papers, create work plans to reduce assessments and make recommendations to the management. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. What you'll do Obtain, organize, and validate data to support audit defense. Manage audit workflows, e.g. audit repositories for tracking/reporting purposes.
