Neurosurgery Locums Job in Nebraska 24-Hour Trauma Call December Assignment Coverage Details: 24-Hour Coverage (Monday 7 AM through following Monday 7 AM preferred)
Shift Description: December 24 December 29; 7 AM 7 AM
Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
Full Nebraska License - highly preferred
Clean background/malpractice - highly preferred
Additional Details: Required Procedures: Back & Spine Trauma
Cases: Trauma, ICH, Spine, placement of drains
Duties: Trauma Call, new consults, and hospital rounds
Level 1 Trauma Center
Communication: Tiger Connect app required for consult notifications
Support Staff: APPs assist with rounding; employed physicians often serve as backup
Average ICU patients/day: 10
Average admissions/day: 7
EMR: EPIC
