Job Description
				This position requires a minimum of two years of experience, with a preference for candidates who have prior home care or hospice experience. The Hospice RN is responsible for providing high-quality, continuous client care, beginning with ongoing assessments that consider the client's physical, psychological, and socioeconomic needs. A key function involves collaborating effectively with physicians, other healthcare professionals (therapists, social services, etc.), clients, and families to develop a comprehensive and coordinated care plan. The RN must be capable of supervising and directing the client care team, initiating appropriate action independently and responsively in hospice situations, and identifying and assessing overt and subtle signs of physiological and psychological changes, notifying the physician promptly. Essential skills include strong written and verbal communication, good interpersonal skills for tactful community engagement, and excellent organizational and time management abilities. Candidates must also possess Current CPR certification and be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good repair.
