Urgent Care Physician Assistant Locums - Connecticut, PRN Coverage
Flexible PRN urgent care shifts in Connecticut from November 2025 through March 2026, weekends prioritized.
Highlights
- No call, outpatient-only coverage
- Shifts available now through March 2026
- 12-hour shifts, primarily on weekends
- Travel and lodging covered (airfare not included)
Practice Setting
- Multiple urgent care sites across Hartford and nearby counties
- May split shifts between two nearby clinics
- Treat patients of all ages, including pediatrics
Schedule
- 7a to 7p shifts, with block flexibility
- PRN model; work as often as your schedule allows
- Monday and Friday shifts available in addition to weekends
- Last-minute changes may occur to accommodate callouts
Cases and Procedures
- Typical urgent care volume and acuity
- Procedures include: suturing, wound care, splinting, incision and drainage
- Basic imaging, labs, EKGs
- No hospital work required
Requirements
- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Active Connecticut license, BLS, and DEA
- Must have urgent care experience with all age groups
Travel Accommodations
- Lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
