PURPOSE OF THE PORSCHE SERVICE DIRECTOR POSITIONEnsure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocatesManage, organize, supervise, and develop the Dealership Service Department to:
- Maximize profitability
- Increase client satisfaction
- Maintain factory-dealership relationships
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(Other duties may be assigned)Understand and assist with all functions of the Service Manager roleDrive and operate vehicles as requiredSet monthly and annual objectives/forecasts for service department sales and profitEstablish and maintain systems to track sales and production performance dailyDetermine short and long-term staffing requirementsEstablish and monitor goals for member development programsSet client satisfaction index goals and coordinate plans for achievementCollaborate with the Parts Manager to ensure proper inventory levelsParticipate in operational planningEstablish written departmental policies and procedures, including:
- Hiring practices
- Hours of operation
- Pay plans and pay levels
- Written job descriptions
- Member training and standards of performance
- Member records and motivation
- Plant and equipment maintenance
- Discipline, fringe benefits, and security
Review performance of each department managerUnderstand and utilize the Client Concern Resolution (CCR) processAdhere to the Park Place Privacy and Information Security PolicyAttend weekly department meetingsAttend weekly manager meetings

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university1-2 years of related experience and/or trainingOr an equivalent combination of education and experienceProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSOperator's Driver's License (must be insurable)
