The ideal candidate will have an interest in treating breast cancer, taking facial trauma call, and performing microsurgery. Additional expertise in Hand Surgery or Cosmetic Surgery would be fully supported. Our group supports UCHealth Memorial Central Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center and the busiest breast surgery practice in Southern Colorado. Be part of a team growing to include four plastic surgeons and four APPs who assist with rounding, clinic, inpatient consults, and first assistance in the operating room. Perform a wide range of reconstructive procedures, including but not limited to implant and autologous breast reconstruction, body contouring, limb reconstruction and reconstruction after skin cancer excision. 1:4 practice call and 3 to 5 days of facial trauma call per month shared with ENT and oral surgery. Ability to perform independently or assist with deep inferior epigastric perforator (DIEP) flaps. A microsurgical fellowship is not required. EPIC EMR utilized system-wide.
