Emergency Medicine Physician

Coverage Needed:

• As soon as credentialed - ongoing
• Minimum 3 months, likely 6-9 months
• Shift times: 6a-2p, 9a-6p,1p-10p,3p-11p,4p-10p,9p-6a

Clinical Information:

• Number of beds: 50
• Average patient census: 130 pts/day
• Patients rounding on per day: 1.95 PPH
• Daily admissions: 28
• Level 3 trauma designation
• Support staff: ED RN Fully staffed, 32 hours of APP coverage per day
• Common cases: C/P, Abd Pain, AMS
• Annual ER admissions: 11,286
• Number of EM physicians on staff per shift: 2

Required:

• DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
• Board Certified ABEM
• Active TN License
• Minimum 3 years experience - Highly Preferred
• ACLS, ATLS
• Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered "Local", and will not be eligible for this role
