Locums PA/NP Orthopedic Surgery Coos Bay, OR

- Participate in full-scope orthopedic care, including call coverage, procedures, and perioperative management.
Assignment Details
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient, and Surgical
- Start: ASAP (after credentialing)
- Schedule: Full-time; Sunday-Saturday workweek
- Call: Night and weekend rotation, including holidays
- EMR: Epic (4-hour unpaid training required; testing out in 2 hours possible)
Clinical Details
- Assist with orthopedic surgeries, including tendon repair, wound closure, fracture management, and hardware removal.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as joint aspirations, injections, closed reductions, and minor outpatient surgeries.
- Conduct daily hospital rounds, admit and discharge patients, and respond to inpatient and ED orthopedic consults.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to quality and safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Board Certified PA or NP
- Active Oregon state license
- Meets criteria for hospital medical staff or allied health privileges
- NPDB self-query required at submission
- CAQH login and password required at offer
- Full-time availability required
- Minimum of 60 days for credentialing
Compensation
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
