Carilion Clinic, a not-for-profit healthcare organization serving nearly one million residents in western Virginia, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible GI Hospitalist to join our growing teams at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center and Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, our flagship academic medical center and Level 1 trauma center. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on providing high-quality inpatient gastroenterology care. • 100% inpatient GI practice; procedures and consultative care
• Seven-on/seven-off schedule for optimal work-life balance
• Collaborate with a dedicated and experienced team of gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, and hospitalists
• Access to advanced endoscopic equipment and technology
• Academic appointment available with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine
• Support for clinical research and teaching if desired
• J1 sponsorship available

Qualifications:

• MD/DO degree with completion of a GI fellowship
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Virginia
• Strong clinical skills and interest in inpatient GI care
• Commitment to team-based care and patient satisfaction
