About the Role

Were looking for a hands-on, people-first engineering leader to help shape the future of our Loan Acquisition technologyespecially across key entry points like SEO, SEM, and affiliate-driven funnels. Youll partner with product, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-converting, resilient experiences that help customers move through the loan application journey smoothly.

In this role, youll lead and mentor high-performing engineering teams, build scalable systems, and drive initiatives that balance long-term vision with day-to-day delivery. Youll play a critical part in ensuring we stay fast, stable, and focused on what matters most to our users and the business.

What Youll Do

Lead and grow a team of engineers working on customer-facing loan acquisition experiencesmentoring tech leads, hiring top talent, and supporting career development.

Partner closely with Product, Marketing, and Design to shape the roadmap, deliver features that improve performance, and test ideas quickly.

Own the technical strategy for top-of-funnel platforms and application flowsbalancing experimentation, performance, and maintainability.

Break complex projects into MVPs, enabling faster delivery and feedback cycles.

Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and thoughtful decision-making through strong engineering practices (e.g., code reviews, testing, documentation).

Set clear team goals, measure progress, and continuously improve engineering processes and collaboration.

Ensure systems are performant, secure, and resilientespecially in a high-traffic, mobile-first environment.

Translate high-level business goals into technical direction, and collaborate with enterprise architects and infrastructure partners on long-term planning.

Actively contribute to platform evolution, including migration and modernization efforts.

What Youll Bring

810+ years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years leading teams and managing managers.

A track record of building and shipping scalable web applications in agile environments.

Strong ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term technical thinking.
