Pay Rate: $30.00 an hour with $2.00 an hour additional shift differential on swing and grave shift
Sign On Bonus: $2,000 hire on bonus is for new hires and rehires that are returning after 5 years or more. The bonus will be paid out in equal $333/$334 portions after successfully completing 3 months, 6 months and 9 months of employment with Treasure Island Resort & Casino.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all HVAC systems
- Assist with HVAC system installations
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Maintain water treatment systems
- Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment and appliances
- Maintain accurate logs and maintenance records
- Monitor and adjust property wide temperature controls and set points
KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and Certification
Required:
- Two (2) years vocational HVAC training or five (5) years of equivalent on-the-job experience
- Valid HVAC and Refrigerant Certification
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Preferred:
- Class C Chief Boiler License
Skills
Required:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organized with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Preferred:
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and familiarity with DX/DDC control systems

Required:
- Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to troubleshoot, maintain and repair specialized equipment
- Ability to maintain high confidentiality

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to walk or stan for up to 8 hours
- Must have a good balance and be able to bend, kneel, and stoop as needed
- Must be able to occasionally push, pull, and grasp objects
- Must be able to climb a ladder
- Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds independently on a routine basis
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
- Must have good hand-eye coordination
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Work is performed throughout the property both indoors and outdoors, and may include exposure to loud noise (power tools), dust, fumes (chemicals, paints, varnishes), flashing lights, and cigarette smoke
- Must be able to work in tight spaces and in all weather conditions
- Overtime may occasionally be required
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
