Job Description
As a hospitalist physician, employee will diagnose and treat medical conditions, diseases and injuries of internal organ systems in adult hospital inpatients who do not require surgical intervention. Employee will also order and interpret laboratory tests. Treatment consists of long-term, comprehensive care. Employee will provide medical care consistent with internal medicine.
Minimum Requirements: Doctor of Medicine from accredited U.S. medical school (or foreign equivalent); passage of all parts of U.S. Medical Licensing Examination; certification by Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates; completion of 3 year U.S. residency in internal medicine; board eligibility/certification in internal medicine; active/pending Nebraska medical license.
