Position Purpose:
The Senior Mammographer performs a variety of mammography, bone density, and ABUS exams with optimal image quality and patient care practices. Assists with interventional breast procedure preferred. Responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Women's Health Center department. Provides supervision for the Women's Health Center staff in the absence of the Site Supervisor.
What we are looking for:
Education: Graduate form a Radiologic Technology program
Licensure / Certification:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration as a radiographer, required; and
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration as a mammographer required or registry eligible as a mammographer; and
Valid State of Ohio Radiologic License required.
Must be certified in Mammography through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or meet the Mammography Quality Standards Act criteria (Registry eligible) in the performance of mammography.
Experience: Three years of experience preferred in mammography with an understanding of Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) regulations/quality control
Effective Communication Skills necessary to work with patients, associates, and physicians.
Demonstrates technical ability as required by The American College of Radiology (ACR).
Ability to perform professional duties with minimal supervision.
