Insight Global is seeking a Secret Cleared Communications Network Engineer Senior to join one of our large federal clients in Philadelphia, PA. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Evaluate communication hardware and software, as well as troubleshoot Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and other network related problems. Administer LAN/BAN/WANs. Schedule conversions and cutovers. Coordinate with all responsible users and sites. Specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and testing of complex large-scale computer integrated networks. Must possess an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network support certification such as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, MIS or related field
• Active DoD Security Clearance
• Active CCNA Certification (certified cisco network administrator)
• 4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer specific too:
o Plan and build network systems (LAN, WAN, VPN, cloud networks).
o Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
o Monitor network performance and uptime.
o Troubleshoot connectivity issues and outages.
o Apply patches and updates to network hardware/software.
