Job Description: 
 - Responsible for the front-line support, front desk staffing, and visitor coordination for the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars and The Brown Center for Leadership & Service Center offices. Serves as the main contact for MFOS and BCLS offices reception in-person, phone, and online. Supports general customer service, help, and inquiry accounts. Assists with training of student staff on front line support and covers staffing for the front desk and other engagement entry point areas of the space. Knowledgeable of the MFOS and BCLS offices to attend to visitor needs and provide resolution for complex frontline issues within the unit.
- Coordinate Director(s) calendars and related administrative tasks. Assist with meetings and events for the MFOS and BCLS offices. Aids in planning logistics, attendee follow-up communications, scheduling, and day-of arrangements. May collaborate with others in the department for special events and signature programs.
- Assists with administrative functions related to the MFOS and BCLS office operations. Provides coordination of services, travel arrangements, supplies, mail, and functional training. Prepares reports, presentations, manuals, materials for administrative projects and other duties as assigned. Works in university and departmental databases to coordinate and process administrative functions and records. Ensure compliance with departmental and University policies, guidelines, and other relevant regulations 
- Manages the MFOS and BCLS office reservation system, maintenance requests, and inventory functions. Communicate with internal units (e.g. Building Services, Maintenance, Division IT), to ensure requests and functions are satisfactory to support optimal usage. Serves as unit liaison to the Career & Integrative Partnerships shared services and may serve as backup to shared services functions.
Expected Salary: 
$21.50/hr
Required Qualifications: 
High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
 Experience in customer service-driven industry and working with varied populations
 Experience with student staff supervision and/or motivating teams
 Demonstrated levels of professionalism and dependability
 Demonstrated competence in office administration 
SKILLS
 Demonstrated proficiency with computers and basic software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
 Demonstrated planning, time management, and organizational skills
 Demonstrated proficiency with communication skills (verbal and written)
 Demonstrated interpersonal skills
ABILITIES
 Strong ability to be detail-oriented, accurate, and problem-solve while working independently 
 Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, co-workers, departmental staff members, UF staff members, and students
 Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
