Emergency Management Services (EMS) Educator - Ambulance

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and deliver education based on quality improvement findings, mandated education, and the department's needs.
  • Teach EMS clinical techniques and provide sufficient practice to staff to develop skill proficiency.
  • Monitor individual and overall department performance.
  • Reviews documentation for learning opportunities related to standards of care, protocols, and practice.
  • Ensures appropriate documentation of education programs by maintaining course records to document employee participation and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Participates in the development of remediation plans to address individual or department weaknesses.
  • Manages the new hire orientation process, including scheduling.
  • Manages all appropriate equipment and inventory, including cleaning and maintenance.
  • AHA Training Site Coordinator.
